A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of noise pollution.
Wikipedia defines the term ‘Noise Pollution’ to be “Noise pollution, also known as environmental noise or sound pollution, is the propagation of noise with ranging impacts on the activity of human or animal life, most of them are harmful to a degree.”
Noise pollution, simply put, is the emission of outrageous noise, often harmful to the environment. Predominantly, there are 4 types of noise pollution. They are Continuous noise, Intermittent noise, Impulsive noise, and Low-frequency noise.
Noise pollution is caused by a variety of reasons, some of them being vehicles, aircraft, industrial machines, loudspeakers, and crackers.
Noise pollution raises various issues, including stress-related illnesses, high blood pressure, speech interference, hearing loss, sleep disruption, and lost productivity.
In order to prevent the dangers of noise pollution, we can create no-honking zones, minimise the usage of electronic devices, and use earplugs and other devices for the same.
