Good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of the “Millennial Generation.”
Essentially, the millennial generation consists of people who are born between 1981 and 1996. Approximately, their current age in 2022 can be chalked up to anywhere between 26 and 41 years.
Millennials are the generation that precedes Generation Z. They succeed Generation X. Thus, being born between a traditional and modern time, they happen to be the generation that is open to novelty, accepting the best of both worlds. Initially, they were named Generation Y.
In this essence, the millennial generation has borne witness to major historical, political, and economic moments. These include the September 11 terrorist attacks, the 2003 invasion of Iraq, the Great Recession, and the Internet explosion.
Often termed ‘digital natives’, the millennial generation is characterized by its elevated usage of the internet, mobile devices, and smartphones. They are thus known for being “tech-savvy” and are branded for their curious nature.
