Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Education of Girl Child.
The societal perception that girls are weak and a burden to the family often leads people, especially in rural underdeveloped areas, to not educate their daughters. But not sending girls to school is a great evil that has many negative consequences.
Girls are capable of everything, and yet every opportunity is consistently taken away from them throughout their lives due to prejudices. Educating girls gives them a chance to make use of all their capabilities and prove themselves equal to men in every aspect.
No society can progress without its women progressing, and therefore we must actively strive to educate the girl child. After all, these little girls will be the very women who lead us in the future!
To conclude, we must always value the education of the girl child! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.
