Basketball is a game played between two teams of five players each. The players dribble the ball past the members of the opposing team and try to get it through the hoops on the opponents’ side of the court. The game was created in Canada in the nineteenth century.
Basketball is a game that prioritises height, speed, and agility. It demands a lot of hard work and talent. However, it is also a game that anyone can play and enjoy, which is why it is so popular worldwide. It is especially popular in the United States of America, where the NBA (National Basketball Association) is the professional league for the sport.
