So, today I want to tell you all about the Park Street Cemetery, one of the most popular attractions in my hometown of Kolkata.
The Park Street Cemetery is situated in Park Street, one of the most happening places in the city. However, the cemetery�s spooky ambience is quite different from the rest of the posh area�s vibe. The cemetery was one of the earliest cemeteries for the British in Kolkata during their colonial rule.
Many British men and women from the colonial period are buried here. However, the most chilling thing about this is the fact that most of the people buried here died very young, either due to tropical diseases or war. The intricate and beautiful tombstones at the cemetery are a sight to behold, and enchants visitors even amidst the otherwise spooky atmosphere.
