Subject: Request to Spend the Summer Vacation in my Village
Dear Sally,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I’m also well by his blessings. From your last letter I have come to know that you are very excited for the summer vacation. I am looking forward to them as well. So, today I want to request you to spend your summer vacation at my village since it is a beautiful place that I greatly cherish.
My village is situated a few miles away from the nearest town. I live here with my parents and grandparents. Our family has been inhabiting this village for generations now. The village landscape is untouched by the evils of urbanisation, so it is surrounded by a lot of greenery and clean air. This will surely be a refreshing feeling that will enrich your summer vacation.
We can play in the beautiful green fields here, and go swimming in the many ponds in the village. The village has rapidly developed in the last few decades, and now most villagers enjoy modern facilities such as the internet and electricity just like townspeople do, so you will surely have no problem adjusting to life here.
The village also has many fruit orchards. The mango and lychee trees in these orchards will be ripe during the summer and we can have these fresh fruits right off the tree! I really hope you can spend your summer with me at my village!
