Subject: Explaining Everything that Happened over the Weekend
Dear Rima,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I’m also well by his blessings. In your last letter you had asked me to explain everything that happened over the weekend since I told you that it has been a very exhausting one. So today, I want to tell you all about what happened last weekend.
I had a lot of assignments due this week, and I was very busy trying to get them all done over the weekend. Moreover my parents aren’t home, so I also had to take care of the house and our dog all by myself. As a result, I was swamped with work and chores. Also, I am very sad to inform you that I actually injured myself.
While coming back from the local market on Saturday I tripped on a brick that had been carelessly left in the middle of the road. This caused me to sprain my ankle very badly. I went home and applied an ice pack on the injury but it continued to swell. After a while it became very difficult for me to walk properly, and I was eventually forced to take a painkiller to control the pain.
I think I will be alright soon. Until then I have to use an anklet for support and walk very carefully since it causes me enormous pain. And this is all that happened over the weekend.
