Subject: School Sports Day
Dear Rima,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I�m also well by his blessings. In my last letter I had told you that my school was organising its annual sports day soon. The grand event finally happened last week! So, today I want to tell you all about my school�s annual sports day!
The school sports day kicked off with a bang, with national level sportsmen from our state coming in as chief guests! They inaugurated the event, which then started off with a march past by the entire student body. We had all been preparing for the march past for a while, and it was a dream come true to see it executed so perfectly! We also had a gymnastic and karate showcase by the students of the gymnastic and karate club following this.
Then the various competitions started, and it was wonderful to cheer for our fellow classmates and participate as well. I participated in the tug of war, which my class won, and the 100 m race, where I bagged the bronze medal! Our parents came to support us as well! The great day finally ended with a football match between our school�s finest football players. The match was indeed a pleasure to watch, and it had us all shouting in our seats! The sports day was truly a memorable and exciting one!
