Subject: My Profession
Dear Rima,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are healthy and happy by the grace of God. I�m also well by his blessings. In your last letter you asked me about my profession. As you know, I am a high school teacher. So in today�s letter, I want to tell you all about my life as a high school teacher!
I am a teacher of English Literature, and it gives me great pleasure to teach students about the beauty of the English language. Discussing poems and stories of great merit with young minds is very refreshing and enjoyable. I love the enthusiasm that my students show in class, and try to encourage them to read for their own pleasure as well.
I love teaching and believe it is a very noble profession, since it is teachers who mould the minds of the next generation who will be the future leaders of this world. I always ask my students to speak up in class and come at me with any query that they have, because only through questioning and curiosity can you gain more knowledge.
I try to be strict while marking exams, but I also give credit where it is due, especially when students show improvement in their writing and analytical skills. I truly love my students a lot and hope that they can go forward and do great things with their lives.
