Hi there. I received your email and I am very happy to know that you are enjoying your stay in Dubai. The photos were very pretty. I am in Nepal this vacation. Nepal is a very beautiful country. The culture here is very rich. This time of the year they celebrate a festival called Dashain. The Hindu holiday of Dashain, also known as Bijaya Dashami in Sanskrit, is a significant one in Nepal.
Additionally, it is observed by Hindus across Nepal and throughout the world. Devotees clean and brightly decorate their homes throughout this time. The Goddess would appear and bless their houses, as per the widespread belief that underlies this tradition. Families come together to celebrate the Dashain Festival, and marketplaces are packed with people buying clothes and gifts.
Goats, sheep, buffalo, chickens, and ducks are among the creatures readied for sacrifice as offerings to the deity. For the course of the festival, the majority of businesses and organisations are closed. The entire nation comes together to celebrate Dashain with their loved ones. I attended the puja yesterday and it was so vibrant.
There are striking similarities and differences between the Indian and Nepali cultures. During the Dashain Festival, kite flying is the most popular sport in every home. This custom is based on the idea that flying kites will prompt God to bring more rain.�
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the festival as a Nepali family included us in their celebration. They were very generous and explained the entire tradition to me and even got me new clothes. You should also visit Nepal and especially during Dashain.
