Subject– Climate change awareness.
Dear Sameer,
Hello. I hope this email finds you in the best of health. Have you been watching the news? There is growing concern regarding climate change. Climate change is a result of greenhouse gas emissions. The earth is engulfed in greenhouse gas emissions, which trap solar heat. Due to this, the environment is changing and warming up. At this time in recorded history, the planet is warming more quickly than ever.
A significant portion of world emissions is produced when fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas are burned to produce power and heat. Gases are also released during mining and other industrial processes. The environment and ecology are being affected by these climate changes in a number of different ways. Many plant and animal species have perished as a result of these changes.
One of the greatest consequences of the unjustified rise in atmospheric temperature is changes in the occurrence of seasons. Forest fires, torrential downpours, and glacier melting are just a few of the devastating climate changes brought on by global warming. We need to stop global warming in order to live in peace and happiness.
The use of already depleted natural resources must cease right away, and reforestation efforts should be made. It is good to know that our curriculum includes chapters on the environment and such threats to it. The coming generations will have greater awareness. However, we must all take conscious efforts to plant more trees, and avoid burning fuel unnecessarily. Let us walk or use public transport instead of taking private vehicles.
The state of the planet is worrisome and if we don’t take action now it will cost us heavily. There is a walk for climate change awareness this weekend. I will share the details if you are interested. Take care of yourself and the planet.
Yours lovingly,
Jai U
