Write An Email To Your Cousin About A Family You Know In Your Neighbourhood In English

Subject– My new neighbours.

Dear Sameer,

Hello. How are you my dearest cousin? I hope this email finds you healthy and happy. By God’s grace I am also well.

I want to tell you all about the new family, the Khanna’s,  that have moved into the house next to ours. They are very sweet and they moved in last week. There is a couple and their two children. The best part is they have two puppies. The puppies are very jolly and they play with me. The children are very young, aged 4 and 7 but they are also very mannered. Last night they brought us carrot cake.

Earlier they lived in Delhi and came to Mumbai because of Mr. Khanna’s job. He works in a bank and moves across the country a lot. They have lived in Punjab, Nainital, Shimla, Delhi and now Mumbai. Mrs Khanna shares so many interesting stories and she showed me her collection of books and cutlery. It amazed me to see such a rich collection all intact even after having to shift so much.

Over the past week we have bonded over mom’s chai and Mrs Khanna’s samosas. Every evening we meet and chat. I feel so grateful that such a sweet family is now our neighbour.

Give my regards to uncle and aunty and much love to Diya.

Yours lovingly,

Radha U
