Subject: My Participation in a Sports Event
Dear Rima,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I�m also well by his blessings. In my last letter I had told you that I was going to participate in the district level badminton tournament. So, today I want to tell you all about the event and my participation in it!
I have loved playing badminton since I was a child, and so my parents enrolled me in a sports academy when I was fourteen so I could get better at it. I have participated in many matches and tournaments since, but this was the first major sports event that I participated in. I was very nervous about the tournament, but my parents and coaches encouraged me and put a stop to my fears.
I practised a lot so that I could do my best in the event. When the day of the tournament finally came around, I could not contain my excitement! My hard work also paid off because I emerged victorious in the initial rounds and made it to the semi finals. Sadly, I lost the semi-final match by a very narrow margin.
I then played the match for deciding the second runner-up in the tournament, and thankfully won it, bagging the third prize in the tournament! I hope I can participate in more tournaments like this in the future!
