Subject:- An application one day leave due to retirement.
Respected Sir,
I am writing this application to request for one day leave from school due to the retirement of my grandfather. My grandfather has served the Indian Navy for 30 years and is now retiring from his service. The entire family has decided to celebrate this occasion and I would like to be present at the event to show my respect and gratitude to him
. The occasion is on 3rd October and I won’t be able to attend the school for the day. I understand that this might be a disruption to my studies and I am willing to make up for the classes. I have attached a copy of the invitation card with this application. I would be grateful if my request is granted.
