Subject: Leave Application for Wife’s Death
Respected Sir,
With deep regret and remorse, this is to bring to your kind notice that my wife has unfortunately and untimely passed away on 14th December, 2022 due to a road accident. She was hit by a truck on the highway while she was riding her scooty. She was my everything and my lifeline. It seems that my life is not worth living without her presence. There can be no replacement ever and the void is here to stay forever. She is not with us but we all will keep her forever alive in our prayers.
The family had decided to organise her funeral on 15th December, 2022. I want to be there for my family during this time to support them and to provide strength to my kids who have lost their beloved mother. It’s not easy for them either. Thus I, Sunil, hereby request you to grant me leave from 14th December, 2022- 24th December, 2022. I will complete the targets assigned once I join back the office. I assure to join at the earliest possible.
