Subject: Application for Leave for Pind Daan
Respected Sir,
With great pleasure, this is to bring to your kind notice the occasion of Pind Daan is upcoming. I would like to request a leave for three days i.e. 3rd of May 2022 till the 6th of May 2022. I would love to attend this program. The Hindus take this occasion up to utmost seriousness. Pind daan as per Hindu belief is a ritual to offer homage to the departed soul.
Pind daan in Gaya and other places is a very important Hindu ritual and is performed by the relatives of the person who left for the heavenly abode. My grandparents as well as my parents want everyone in the family to be present.
Hence, I, Kashish Sharma, Associate Director, hereby request you to accept my leave application as I shall be on leave on the above mentioned date. I have already completed the targets assigned for that day. I assure you that I will be present on 7th May, 2022.
