Subject – Application for the request of leave for my friend’s father’s death
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to request a leave of two days i.e. the 6th and the 7th of May 2022 for my friend’s father’s death. My friend’s father was in cardiac arrest on the 4th of May when he was going under dialysis at Stefan Hospital, Texas. He has already been suffering from diabetes for about ten years.
His death ceremony will be held in our home town which is 20 miles from here. I would like to take this leave to be with her family and to help out in the ceremony of my friend’s father’s death. I have requested Miss Laura to do the required task for the week in my absence and she has happily accepted to do so.
I assure you that I will be back to resume my work by the 8th of May 2022. I will put forth as much as I have lost during my leave and make up for the time lost.
