Subject – Application for the request of leave for my daughter’s rice ceremony
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would request a leave for two days i.e.18th and the 19th of May 2022 because of my daughters rice ceremony. This ceremony is especially important in the culture of the Hindus. My husband and I are extremely happy for this event because this is our first child and therefore, we would like to make this a grand event. We have family members from near and far attending this program. I have requested Mr Calvin to do the required work for the two days that I will be missing on. I assure you that I will be back to resume my work by the 20th of May 2022.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
