Respected Madam,
With utmost sincerity, this is to draw your attention to the upcoming festival of karwa chauth. It is an important day for any wife as she keeps a fast for her husband’s long life. Since this is my first Karwa Chauth after marriage, our in-laws have hosted a dinner party for all our relatives.
This would be a small effort to catch up on the moments we have missed due to lockdown. My beloved husband has also decided to keep a fast praying for my long life as well. I have to be at home in the morning to make preparations for the get together. Hence, I, Nisha, hereby request you to grant me a leave on 28th August, 2022. I have already completed the target due for that day. I assure you that I shall be present on 29th August, 2022.
