Subject – Application for the request of leave for expiration of my brother
Sir,
With all due respect and honor, I would request a leave for a week i.e 1st of April till the 7th of April for the death of my brother. My brother has been a diabetic patient for a very long time. He went into dialysis as well. With age grew more complications and it began to be a tough ride. On the 30th of March 2022, my brother took his last breath in Fortis Hospital, Towson.
I would like to request a leave for a week to take care of the funeral service and to be there for my family as we heal in this very tough moment together emotionally and spiritually. As my brother’s time on earth slowly came to an end, it was his last wish for his family to have a social gathering to celebrate him. My brother was a very positive, God fearing boy who never feared death.
I would love to fulfil his promise as his only sister. I have requested Miss Laura to do the required task for the week in my absence and she has happily accepted to do so. I assure you that I will be back to resume my work by the 8th of April 2022. I will put forth as much as I have lost during my leave and make up for the time lost.
