Subject – Application for the request of leave due to my father’s retirement function
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that I would like to request a leave for tomorrow i.e 21st of November 2022 because of my fathers retirement function. My father, who has been working as the Director of a penguin company, is retiring after 40 years of service in the company. It has been decided that there will be a formal program in celebrating his years of work. The invitation has been made to friends and family members including all their work members as well. More towards that, we are to be there early to help out with the decors and prepare the feast as well. I write this in requesting you to allow me to attend this auspicious occasion. I have requested Miss Neha to take care of all necessary work in my absence. I will put forth as much as I have lost during my leave and make up for the time lost. I will be back on 22nd of November 2022 with no delay.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
