Sub: Application for the request of leave for college
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that my college is having a very important function on the 6th of June 2023. We have the prime minister coming to the town council hall to meet the students and we are all expected to be there. We have compulsory attendance as well and a fine for the absentees.
Being a student, I would like to take a day off from my work and attend this program. I have already completed the work and assignments in advance and have submitted the project to Sir James. I would be so grateful if you could see to this.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
