Dear Varun,
I hope you and your family are happy and doing well. You are all set to celebrate Vinayak Chaturthi, aren’t you? Two days ago, there was a colourful Ganesh festival celebration at my school. All students were dressed in traditional attire. Parents were also invited for the celebration. The celebration started at 10 a.m.
The school manager inaugurated the celebration. The celebration took place at the auditorium. The school was decorated with orange and yellow marigold flowers. An idol of Ganesh was kept decorated, with a lighted lamp in front of it. In her speech, the principal talked about the importance of this festival and how it is part of the great Indian culture.
There was a skit performed by the student based on a story taken from Hindu mythology. Following the skit, all students and parents were served sweets. We also got one “modhak” each. It was very delicious. The celebration ended on a good note.
