I hope you and your loved ones are happy and doing well. Independence Day is coming. What are the plans made by your school’s National Service Scheme unit for this year’s Independence Day celebration? Have you heard about “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”? It is a program launched by the government of India last year to celebrate 75 years of our country’s independence. This started on March 12, 2021 and will conclude on August 15, 2023. This is dedicated to all those who played an important role in bringing about independence, as well as to all those who contributed to the India we see today. The aim of this program is to make our country a self-reliant one, or “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.” There are many events in every state as part of this program. All of these events highlight our country’s cultural diversity, which no other country has. There is a website that contains full information about all the events, campaigns, ideas, etc. related to this program.
