Subject: Leave application for the marriage
Sir,
With due respect, it is to state that I, Dr. Zaira Wasim, performing my job as an assistant professor in the Department of English write this application to request you for ten days’ leave from work.
I am getting married next week. The dates have been fixed for the rituals and preparations have begun in my home. I will need some days to leave even after the wedding day. Therefore, kindly allow my absence from October 20th to October 30th.
None of my classes shall go vacant as I have already talked with other Lecturers and rescheduled them. I have submitted the tentative time table in the department office for your approval. I shall be immensely obliged.
