Subject: Leave for suffering from cold
Respected Sir/ Madam,
I’m writing this letter to let you know that I am really sick and cannot attend school. Due to a cold, I have heavy coughing and a congested nose. In this situation, my parents are unwilling to send me to school. I am requesting you to kindly give me a two-day leave because the doctor said it’ll take some time for me to recover from the cold and be physically well. I’m currently under medication to improve my health, so I need some rest to get well soon. I would be grateful if you can grant me the required leave. I’ll resume my classes as soon as possible.
