Subject: Application for tour leave
Sir,
I, Rahul Tripathi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, would like to you inform that I have been invited by the University of Abuja, Nigeria to present a seminar paper and attend the one-week program on ‘Global Positioning System’ which the University is going to organize on it Foundation Day.
As this will be an educational tour for me and my other colleagues accompanying me, I will be on leave for ten days from October 28th to November 8th.
I request you to kindly sanction my leave as this will enhance my knowledge and will add to my experience. The texts that I am yet to teach will be easily covered after I will re-join my work.
