Subject: Application for tour leave
Sir,
I, Rahul Tripathi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, would like to you inform that I have been invited by the University of Abuja, Nigeria to present a seminar paper and attend the one-week program on �Global Positioning System� which the University is going to organize on it Foundation Day.
As this will be an educational tour for me and my other colleagues accompanying me, I will be on leave for ten days from October 28th to November 8th.
I request you to kindly sanction my leave as this will enhance my knowledge and will add to my experience. The texts that I am yet to teach will be easily covered after I will re-join my work.
