Good morning one and all. Respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends, it is my pleasure to stand before you today. Today, I am going to share my views on topic”15 August”.
“Independence Day” is the national holiday of India which is celebrated on 15th of August. On this day we honour the memory of the great warriors and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to make India an independent nation. This year we will be celebrating our “77th Independence Day”. On this day, the Prime Minister hoists the National Flag at the Red Fort, Delhi . He addresses the nation, which is followed by a military parade. Schools, colleges, education institutes, Government and private organizations arrange different cultural programs, to make the day memorable. Our main motive for the day is to remember the significant contributions of our freedom fighters who sacrificed everything for us, to make our country an independent nation.
