Subject: Invitation to Visit the Sunderbans
Dear Sally,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I’m also well by his blessings. In your last letter you asked me about the natural attractions in my state. So, today I want to tell you about the beauty of the Sundarbans, which I recently visited with my family, and invite you to visit it as well.
The Sunderbans are located at the coast of India and Bangladesh with the bay of Bengal. They consist of many mangrove forests in the delta that have been formed by the rivers Ganga, Brahmaputra and Meghna coming together. The rich ecosystem of the mangrove forests is a unique sight to behold, which makes the Sundarbans such a popular tourist destination.
The dense mangrove forests are populated by many wild animals, including the famed royal bengal tigers, and many wildlife lovers come here to spot these spectacular animals. It also houses myriad bird species and a variety of flora and fauna. The Sunderbans are a must visit if you ever come to West Bengal, and I recently went there with my family and was absolutely awed by the beauty of the mangrove forests.
We spotted many tigers, crocodiles and birds as well on our journey. The trip turned out to be a truly memorable one! I hope that you accept my invitation and come visit the Sundarbans as well!
That’s all for today. Take care of your health and write to me whenever you have some time! I hope we can meet up soon!
Regards,
Leela D
