Subject: My Visit to a Foreign Country
Dear Sally,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I�m also well by his blessings. In my last letter I told you that I would be going to visit France soon to attend an academic seminar. I am very excited to inform you that it finally happened! So, today I want to tell you all about my visit to France.
This was my first time travelling to a foreign country, and I was equal parts scared and excited. I had a wonderful experience on the long flight to Paris, and was also surprised by how friendly my co-passengers were. On my first two days in the French capital, I attended the academic seminar that had provided me with this amazing opportunity. After that I proceeded to explore the beauties of Paris.
I went to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, as well as other attractions. It was a mind blowing experience to feel the history and heritage of Paris firsthand. I also visited many local cafes and restaurants to get a taste of French cuisine. Going to France was truly a dream come true! I was heartbroken to leave the city at the end of my trip, and really hope that I can go back there again someday. Do tell me which foreign countries you have visited or plan to visit as well!
