Subject: Plans for Dashain Vacation
Dear Rima,
Take my love and affection. I hope you are hale and hearty by the grace of God. I’m also well by his blessings. From your last letter I have come to know that you are very excited for the Dashain vacation. I am looking forward to it as well. So, today I want to tell you all about my plans for Dashain vacation!
Dashain is a wonderful festival full of happiness and cultural heritage. It honours the goddess Durga and her strength and benevolence. The fifteen day long festival is full of joy, fun, splendour and pompous celebrations. All my relatives are coming together to spend Dashain as a big happy family.
I cannot wait to see my beloved cousins and play with them. All our family members will decorate our home beautifully for the upcoming festivities! I am also super excited for all the delicious food that comes with the festival. I am finally going to wear all the new clothes that my family members gifted me as well!
Kite flying is probably one of my favourite things about Dashain since I love flying kites with all my friends and cousins! I really look forward to spending my Dashain vacation surrounded by the love and warmth of my family and friends. I hope this Dashain festival will be another memorable one.
