Subject: Email to your father on your hostel life
Dear Father,
I appreciate your letter introducing me to your game of choice. My preference is different from yours in this regard. Football, hockey, and table tennis are my interests while you appreciate cricket, but not cricket.
I’m not interested in cricket. That’s too slow. I enjoy both football and hockey. They are beneficial to limbs. To play the sports like football and hockey, we require a lot of muscle and endurance. Most importantly, they don’t take as long as it does in cricket. Spending the entire day watching cricket is necessary to fully enjoy the sport. Yet, football and hockey are short-duration sports.
Table tennis is the best indoor game. You get a lot of exercise doing it. It benefits the eyes. It makes our minds more acute. It keeps our brain and mental capacity active. It helps one stay emotionally and physically well. I think badminton is for kids. I’m most engrossed in the game of table tennis among all the indoor games.
