Dear Father,
There are so many diseases in existence nowadays. This is the reason why we fall ill so quickly. I currently have a high temperature, making it impossible for me to get out of bed. I am aware that you must prioritise your health if I am to prevent you from contracting these illnesses.
But because I’m a student and live far from you and my mother, it becomes more challenging for me to take care of myself, which makes me sick. I don’t want you to worry because I’m being taken care of by my pals here and my warden has been nothing but kind to me. As soon as I feel better, I’ll come see you. Sending my best to mum.
