Subject: Email to your father telling him on prize you won in competition
Dear Father,
I hope you are well and in a good mood while I write this. I wrote you this email to let you know about the interschool spell-bee competition I won. My English instructor used to have me practise for two hours every day after school so that I could win this competition. I used to frequently read the newspaper at home and learn new words from it.
And on the last day, I gave it my all�all of my effort, heart, and soul. 20 schools participated in the competition. Finally, when the outcome was revealed, everyone applauded wildly, including myself. My school principal and the judges gave me a diploma and a monetary award.
