I hope my letter finds you in good health. My name is Girinder Kapur, and I’m studying 7th standard in your school. The bad weather in recent days has caused me to wheeze with a cold and throat infection. It is hard to concentrate in the classes. So, I request you grant me a leave for three days, i.e, 28th October to 30th October. It’ll help me rest and recover from wheezing as soon as possible. Hope my letter makes you consider my request.
