Subject – Application for leave for mother’s delivery

Sir,

With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that my mother’s delivery is due the day after tomorrow i.e.17th of November. I am writing to request leave for two days, which is on the 16th and 17th of November 2022, to look after my mother during this period. I am the oldest in the family, I have two younger siblings aged 12 and 10 and we currently have no other emotional support from other family members apart from my father.�

My grandparents live out of state and will be coming to visit my family only next week. It is a very special moment for my family as well to receive a new life in this world. I will be back by the 18th of� November 2022 with no delay. I will put forth as much effort as I have lost during my leave.�

I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
