Subject – Leave due to grandfather’s illness.
Respected Mam,
I am writing this application to inform you that due to a massive heart attack, my grandfather has fallen very ill. He is currently on life support. My whole family is in a deep state of shock, especially my grandmother. My grandfather was already operated upon and had an artificial pacemaker implanted on the left side of his chest. My whole family has decided to visit him in the city hospital. Please allow me a one day leave so that I can meet him as this is the time he would like to meet his family the most. I have full faith in your sense of justice. I shall join the classes tomorrow If everything goes fine by the grace of almighty God.
