Subject:- An application for not attending the annual function.
Respected Sir,
Most humbly and respectfully, I am writing this application to inform you that an unfortunate incident at my home yesterday has rendered me unable to attend the school annual function tomorrow. Actually, while cooking food, my mom has suffered from little burns due to leakage in the gas pipe.
Now that we have booked an appointment to consult the doctor, I believe I must accompany my mother to the doctor’s clinic to make sure that she receives the best possible treatment. I hope you will understand the urgency of this matter. I have full faith in your sense of justice. Kindly allow me to skip the annual function tomorrow.
