Subject: Leave Application for Fasting
Respected Madam,
Most humbly, I want to draw your attention towards the upcoming Chhath Puja festival which is around the corner. The entire family has decided to celebrate this year’s Chhath with great zeal and enthusiasm trying to catch up on the moments we all have missed due to lockdown, where the only resort was to connect virtually.
Since things have started to return to normalcy, we have decided to organise a small get-together with near and dear ones at our place. I have to stay at home and make the preparations for the celebration in advance. Moreover, I have to keep a fast for 2 days. Since it is nirjala fast, I am advised by the doctor to be at home to avoid any exertion while fasting.
Thus, I, Anita, Assistant Director, hereby request you to accept my leave application as I shall not be able to come to work from 6th October, 2022- 7th October, 2022. I have already completed the targets assigned for the days when I will be on leave. I assure you that I will be joining back from 8th October, 2022.
I will be really grateful to you for accepting my leave application and letting me weave memories with my family members.
