Subject: Leave for Aunt’s Death
Respected Madam,
With humility, I would like to bring to your kind notice the untimely demise of my beloved aunt, Ms. Rose, on 17th November, 2022 due to heart attack. I had lived with her for a long time when I was a child. I was very close to her and hearing of her passing away has left me devastated. I would like to visit her family tomorrow in Meerut where she also used to live. Hence, I, Ishu Rana, Technical Head, hereby request you to grant me a leave on 18th November, 2022 as I have to attend her funeral. The entire family has decided to organise a prayer service in her memory and remember her with cherished memories. I want to be with my family on this day to give them strength and to tribute a day in my aunt’s memory and spend it the way she would have wanted us to. Moreover, I assure you that I shall be present on 19th November, 2022.
