Subject – Application for the request of leave for my cousin’s marriage
Sir,
With all due respect and honour, I would like to state that my cousin is getting married on the 27th of March 2022. The wedding ceremony will be held at Paradise Resort, Winter down Road, Assam. With the wedding being the last among my cousins, my family and the rest of the older people in the family would like to make it a special event. Family members living near and far will also be attending this wedding ceremony.
It would also be like a family gathering after so many years of not having one, which makes it even more special. I will have to look after the feast and the decorations for the program as well. I have requested Miss Ella to take my place for all the necessary work for tomorrow. I will be back by the 28th of March 2022 to resume my work.
I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me my leave for which I shall remain forever grateful.
