Very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I’ll be giving a short speech on the topic of Sachin Tendulkar.
Who doesn’t know the man once crowned the ‘God of Cricket’?!
Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is indeed quite a famous name in the world of cricket. A cross-dominant player, he is known for being a skilled batsman. He had once said “Success is a process… During that journey sometimes there are stones thrown at you and you convert them into milestones.”
Tendulkar rose to become the youngest player to make a century in Test Cricket upon scoring 119 in a match against England in 1990. He further became the youngest Indian to score a century on debut in first-class cricket by scoring 100 in his debut Ranji Trophy!
Sachin took the captainship of the Indian Cricket Team twice, from 1996 to 1998 and from 1999 to 2000. In 2013, he retired.
I’d like to conclude with his quote, “Don’t stop chasing your dreams, because dreams do come true.”
