Subject:- Leave due to Holi
Respected Sir,
I hope this letter finds you in best of health. Most humbly and respectfully I am writing this leave letter to tell you that Holi also known as the festival of colours in upon us in two days. This festival has a very high place in my religion. It is celebrated as the oncoming of spring after winters. It also signifies the victory of good over evil, light over dark, and happiness over sadness. This festival also signifies that one should not be arrogant like King Hiranyakashipu. All the people indugle in merrymaking and throw colours on each other. It also promotes brotherhood among them. All my friends have also planned a lot of things. Please allow me to take two days off so that I can enjoy this festival with them. I would be highly obliged. I shall join work immediately after two days.
