He was enraged to construct this monument after one of his wars in the Deccan proved successful.
As a symbol of his triumph, he wished to erect this monument.
The Sultan’s overly ambitious disposition drove him to construct a building that might be twice as tall as Qutub Minar.
In order for the entire world to be aware of Sultan’s magnificence and fortitude, he wanted his edifice to be extremely tall.
He desired to produce a wonderful work of art and wanted the entire world to be aware that the Sultan had created it.
