- On October 15, 1542, Akbar was born in Umarkot (now in Sindh Province, Pakistan).
- Akbar was the grandson of Babur and the son of Humayun.
- Akbar had little reading or writing skills, but he loved good novels.
- In his palace, Akbar kept a library of 24000 books.
- He was multilingual, which made it easy for him to communicate with people.
- Akbar was crowned when he was just 14 years old.
- Akbar ruled from 1556 to 1605.
- Because of his generosity, bravery, and lack of fear, Akbar was given the title “Shahenshah.”
- Birbal was Akbar’s principal commander and a very knowledgeable counsel.
- Akbar died on October 25, 1605.
