- The adoption of HYV seeds, tractors, irrigation facilities, pesticides and fertilizers were the main reasons for revolution.
- It enhanced food security and created many job opportunities in agriculture.
- But poor farmers were unable to afford expensive seeds, fertilizers, machinery, etc.
- It benefited only rich farmers and increased the gap between rich and poor farmers.
